1999 Volvo V70R AWD 180k miles Clear title in hand Current registration (through oct 19) Current CA smog certificate (no need to smog on transfer of title) I bought in 2005 with 60k miles. Has been my daily until a couple years ago. All major service intervals completed (belts, fluids, plugs, filters). Stacks of receipts. Never had a major problem. Runs, rides,drives great. A/C blows cold, heater can roast you out of the car. Everything works. Has a few a dings and scratches here and there, again, this was my daily for nearly a decade. Some clear coat peeling and scratches on rear bumper. Can provide detailed pics of these areas. Doesn’t leak a drop. Service and parts history, piles of receipts. Zippy fun wagon. Run to the snow without chaining up. Hit the twisties on a sunny day. Haul stuff home from Ikea (it all seems to fit in a Volvo, go figure). This wagon was bought new in CA in 1998, I still love it but finally need to let it go. The paint, body, and interior look amazing and people comment how it still looks so new. No major accidents, only two fender benders, covered by insurance and fully repaired. This car has been well cared for with regular oil changes and maintenance. Any repairs needed to the engine and chassis were always done. I have all service records. In Nov. 2017, it got a new RF CV axle, F brake pads/rotors, F bellow boots, had an overall maintenance service, and passed inspection. Tires are in good shape. Hubcaps are painted black. The driver's seat back has begun to tear at the seam in one place. Volvo-brand car cover is included. What the car needs:Probably needs a new catalytic converter since the engine has begun to stall out. It would be safest to tow it to a shop. And the AC isn't blowing cold air.

I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous wagon. It is finished in Ash Gold over Tan and Brown leather interior, which is an absolutely stunning color combination. The Ash Gold finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows very well with no visible damage. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this XC70. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean it came in. As with most of my vehicles, the pictures you see were taken without even washing the car...it's that clean. I would also rate the interior of this XC70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. When you open the door, the chestnut brown interior is the first thing you notice. It is a very uncommon interior color and looks amazing against the tan and brown exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The brown leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this desirable Volvo. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Volvo XC70 came in. Mechanically, this XC70 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 2.5L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The check engine light was on when this Volvo XC70 came in. The code present was an oxygen sensor code. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbo spools up quickly and adds smooth power. This is one of the nicest, tightest driving XC70s I've had in quite some time. This Volvo is an absolute pleasure to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The Volvo XC70 is a very, very capable vehicle. You get an impressive amount of storage capacity that would rival most SUV's. The added ground clearance that come with the Cross Country package gives this wagon winter weather capabilities that equal most SUV's, too...yet, you get the sporty and nimble performance of a car as well as the fuel economy that is associated with a car. What's more, this is a Volvo...so this car is bathed in luxury and safety features that far exceed most other options in this price range.
